In “Puentecito,” I wanted to capture the warm and poetic atmosphere of an urban corner filled with life, light, and everyday movement. The composition revolves around the small bridge that connects both sides of the street, becoming not only an architectural element, but also a symbol of encounter, passage, and connection within the landscape.

The watercolor technique, with its transparency and soft washes, brings lightness and movement to the scene. Shades of gold, violet, blue, and terracotta wrap the street in a serene glow, while the human figures, only lightly suggested, reinforce the feeling of daily life and living history. The balconies, flowerpots, red umbrellas, and birds in the distance create a deeply evocative image where architecture and everyday life coexist in harmony.

This work invites the viewer to pause for a moment and contemplate the beauty of spaces that may seem simple at first glance, yet hold identity, memory, and charm. “Puentecito” is a celebration of the city, of its small details, and of the quiet magic that lives within its streets.
