I wanted to capture that unique moment when the cobblestone streets of San Miguel de Allende glisten after a light rain, when everything seems to quiet down, yet somehow comes more alive. Paseo en San Miguel was born from the desire to freeze time and turn an everyday scene into something vibrant.

The bold, almost digital color palette is meant to reflect not only the architecture and atmosphere of the town, but also the emotion that stirs when you walk through its streets. There’s something truly magical about seeing the Parroquia rise in the distance like a beacon among the colors and shadows of the city.

This piece is a tribute to the beauty of the everyday—the unhurried rhythm of a walk, and the unique charm of my adopted city. In San Miguel, even the simplest days feel like a painting, don’t they?
