There’s something primal and magnetic about the gallop of a horse—it’s not just movement, it’s momentum, it’s thunder. With Cuatro corceles, I wanted to bring that energy to life, but not with realism alone. Each horse here is more than an animal—they are forces, emotions, and directions.
The earthy brown, the luminous white, the fiery red, and the electric blue: each color speaks to a different element of vitality, each mane shaped by imagined winds.
The backdrop is minimal for a reason—so nothing distracts from their charge. I wanted them to feel like they’re coming off the canvas, breaking free from whatever confines them.
This painting is about motion, power, and instinct. It’s about choosing to move forward, in whichever form your spirit takes.
