Sin remitente is a visual dialogue between presence and absence, between intimacy and mystery.

I wanted to capture the essence of a letter without an addressee—a message lost in time, carrying emotions that will never find their destination. The woman, wrapped in soft, cascading fabric, is both a recipient and an enigma herself. Her posture suggests anticipation, reflection, or perhaps resignation. Is she waiting for an answer, or has she already understood that none will come?

The handwritten words behind her, fading into the canvas, add another layer of intrigue. They are remnants of a confession, a whisper frozen in time. The torn edges of the paper, held by tape, symbolize the fragility of memory, the way feelings can be captured and yet remain ephemeral.

This piece invites the viewer to step into a moment of quiet contemplation, to feel the weight of unsent words and the silent power of emotions left unspoken.
