Piso húmedo is a celebration of color, light, and the magic of San Miguel de Allende after the rain.

I was drawn to the way the wet ground transformed the familiar landscape into a canvas of reflections. The historic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel rises majestically, softened by mist and framed by lush greenery, while the water on the pavement captures its essence in a dance of ripples and light.

The contrast between the rich reds of the wall, the deep greens of the trees, and the golden hues of the architecture creates a sense of warmth and nostalgia. The figures in the background, walking through the square, add a touch of life to the scene, grounding the viewer in the daily rhythm of this magical town.

With this piece, I wanted to capture not just a place, but a fleeting moment—the quiet stillness after the rain, where the world seems to pause, allowing us to see it in a new, dreamlike way.
