"Mirada de Frida" is my personal tribute to an artist who continues to inspire generations with her resilience, creativity, and unapologetic spirit. As I painted her face, I focused on her eyes—they carry a quiet strength, a deep wisdom, and a spark of defiance that transcends time.

The vibrant colors surrounding her are not just decorative; they symbolize the richness of her life, her pain transformed into beauty, and her deep connection to Mexican culture. The golden background adds a sense of timelessness, almost as if she exists beyond the limits of the canvas.

Through this piece, I wanted to create more than a portrait—I aimed to capture an emotion, a presence, and a story that speaks directly to the viewer.
